ISO TS/16949

ISO/TS16949 : 2002 was introduces into Thai Nam Plastic (Puplic) Co., Ltd. under the expert guidance of internationlly-recognised consultants and the Thailand Production Institute, and assessed by the highly respected TUV Nord organisation


Essentially ISO/TS 16949 : 2002 is an ISO Technical Specification, which aligns existing American (QS 9000), German (VDA 6.1), French (EAQF) and Italian (AVSQ) automotive quality system standards within the global automotive industry, thus eliminating the need for multiple certifications.

Together with ISO 9001:2000, ISO/TS 16949:2002 Specifies the quality system requirements for the design, development, production, installation and servicing of automotive related products.

Final assessment involved intensive analysis of all the company's management and production processes, talking to all staff and management from top to bottom to ensure conformity with the standards.

The benefit is that customers can now be absoluterly sure that every delivery will precisely meet all their specifications.

The company achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification in April 2002 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification in June 2006
